Lower Primary Montessori Support Educator, 6-9 years (Term 3+)

We are seeking a warm, collaborative, and enthusiastic Lower Primary Support Educator to join our established 6–9 Montessori classroom. This is an opportunity to work within an authentic Montessori environment, supporting children’s independence, curiosity, and engagement in meaningful learning experiences within a thoughtful and connected school community.

About the Role

  • Support the Primary Class Director in delivering a high-quality Montessori learning program

  • Help prepare and maintain a calm, orderly, and engaging Montessori classroom environment

  • Support children’s academic, social, and emotional development while fostering independence and responsibility

  • Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of the classroom and wider school community

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate professionally with families

About You

  • Passionate about working with primary-aged children

  • Warm, calm, proactive, and collaborative in your approach

  • An understanding of, or interest in, Montessori education with a willingness to undertake relevant Montessori training

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • NSW Working With Children Check (essential)

Position Type: Full-time, permanent (5 days per week)

Start Date: Term 3, Monday 20 July 2026

Location: Avalon Beach, Sydney, Australia
