Our school has expanded!

Our current school in Avalon was made possible by the enormous generosity of our benefactor, Thomas Morgan, who in 1988 loaned the school the funds for the building. This interest-free loan was set up as a Trust Fund and the school still repays the loan, long after Mr Morgan's death. The repayments are distributed to his nominated charity.

With a limited number of 37 places but a high demand for Montessori education on the Northern Beaches, it was with a sad heart and great regret that many families had to be turned away over the years.

Thanks to the ongoing hard work by the school's expansion committee, a $250,000 government grant was secured in May 2009. This grant propelled the school towards an extensive building project which was completed in December 2010 and has resulted in a 2nd classroom for 3 - 6 year olds and a learning space for 2012 commencement of a primary classroom. The additional space has further strengthened the school community as we now offer the Under 3s programme on campus.

Parent information evenings

0 - 3 Trained Montessori Director

We are looking for a trained Montessori director to facilitate this popular programme which includes the attendance of both the child and the parent/carer. The programme currently operates on 2 mornings per week and has a purpose built environment adjoining the 3 - 6 classrooms. There is definite potential to expand this programme. Apply now!
